Enter the whimsical world of Moomins at Japan's first MOOMINVALLEY PARK. Use your SEIBU ticket and travel pass from Ikebukuro to meet Moominpappa, Moominmamma, Sniff and other characters of the popular series as you explore the Finnish-inspired park!

Cancellation Policy

  • From 15:00 of the previous day, tickets are non-refundable. Once your voucher is exchanged, no refunds will be allowed with the exception of the following circumstances: In case of natural disasters, mechanical failure or other circumstances beyond the control of the tour operator, tickets can be refunded via VELTRA.

Participation Location Details

  • Passes can only be picked up and used on the date selected when booking.
    Ticket Pick-Up Location:
    SEIBU Tourist Information Center Ikebukuro
    Business hours: 8:00-18:00 (all year)
    *VELTRA vouchers can be exchanged for passes from 08:00 - 15:00.

    The Information center can be found right by the East Exit of Ikebukuro Station. It is located near the 1F entrance gates to the Seibu Line. (The East Exist is the same side of the station which has the Seibu department store.)

  • MOOMINVALLEY PARK Entrance Ticket:
    The entrance ticket will only be valid within the selected date.
    Business Hours: 10:00-20:00
    July 20-September 1, 2020: 9:00-20:00
    Restaurant and shops open at 10:00.
    Business hours are subject to change according to shops and attractions within the park.
    Directions to MOOMINVALLEY PARK from Ikebukuro:
    From Ikebukuro Station get on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line for about 50 minutes and get off at Hanno Station. From Hanno Station, transfer to a bus for about 15 minutes and get off at Metsa.
    At the Park:
    ① Please show your ticket to the staff at the park entrance.
    ② Other attractions and rides fee are separate fees. Please purchase at the ticket vending machines available inside the park.

  • Round-trip Bus Ticket:
    The bus ticket can be used only once between Hanno station north exit / Higashi-Hanno station east exit bus stops to Metsa bus stop.
    ① Please present the bus ticket before getting off the bus.
    ② This ticket is limited to one round-trip only and can be used to buses that are operated by Seibu bus, Kokusai Kogyo bus and Eagle bus.
    1-Day Travel Pass:
    The 1-day pass can be used between any stations within the SEIBU railway lines (except Tamagawa line)
    ① Please show the ticket to the station staff upon entering or exiting the gate.
    ② Separate charges will incur for limited express train and reserved seats must be paid onsite.

Restrictions

  • Children ages 4-5 may board designated SEIBU buses and trains for free but will be needing JPY 1,000 admission fee at MOOMINVALLEY PARK.

Additional Notes

  • Tickets must be picked up at SEIBU Tourist Information Center in Ikebukuro Station (see schedule for location details).
  • Users of this pass cannot be Japanese citizens. Presenting your passport or resident card is required when picking up your ticket.
  • Please note that use of the Tamagawa Line is not included in this pass.
  • Please note that to use the Limited Express, you must pay a surcharge. Use of the Limited Express is not included in this pass.
  • You may exchange your VELTRA voucher for a pass on the date you made your reservation. You may not exchange for it on an earlier date.
